San Diego . Winter Paradise

There was this interesting interview of Indian kids done by Comedy Central , Netflix fame Hasan Minhaj of their experience growing in US where one interesting observation was made; Indian kids always went to India when their parents had vacation. Always in my life, I never planned for a vacation. There is always this inner feeling that triggers a vacation plan in wee hours when the ticket prices are soaring. End of year, is when I feel that I need to take a vacation because that is time when you get the maximum no of holidays without spending PTO. I landed in perfect place with help of weather channel — San Diego. The tickets were booked separately , with my family arriving separately and myself driving from Palm Springs to San Diego after one of my business assignment.

The drive in itself was non-eventful as I was driving into the city while the traffic was piling on other side where people were trying to get out of the city.

I stayed in this wonderful spa. It was a fortune killer but obtained from booking.com. I just liked the surroundings. However they have cooler rooms than the ones I stayed

Day 1 — San Diego Zoo — Balboa Park

Day 2 — Sea World

Day 3 — US Midway Museum and Coranado

Day 4 — Cabriello Monument

Day 5- Maritime Museum, Suspension Foot bridge

Day 6 — Torey Pines, Little Italy and Balboa Park

Now the mind is completely blank. After Covid these vacations are so scarce.
